BMW eRR Electric Sportbike Concept Revealed

BMW eRR Electric Sportbike Concept Revealed

A few details about the BMW eRR Electric Sportbike Concept series have finally been revealed, but the official release date remains under consideration. This new concept bike from BMW was influenced by the S1000RR in that it has the same exhaust design, engine casing, and the same gearshift. This new series is a collaboration with the Technical University of Munich, and at this time, the experimental process is still ongoing. BMW’s primary idea is to integrate the technology in this electric bike with the sports bike class. Compared to all the international motorcycle brands made at this time – this new groundbreaking idea is innovative and fresh. The complete information for this bike isn’t available yet, but recent rumors stated that this bike has a maximum speed that could be 30 MPH faster than any sports bike currently available.

Based on the huge demand that Honda has received from the global Honda community for this bike – it is expected that it will make its first appearance at the EICMA in Milan. Based on the estimates, its horsepower is expected to be 199 HP. With the 4-cylinders Honda put in its engine, the performance will be even more reliable. The Honda Neowing  meets the demands for three-wheeled vehicles, earning the reputation as the most sensible automaker. This is a hybrid vehicle that integrates a normal gasoline engine with the electric motor source power. The newest tech and mechanics that Honda brings to this muscular three-wheeler includes the Honda linkage mechanism. Moreover, Honda also installs the best safety features, and that includes the tilting front suspension system. The next international event where we can see this bike up close is the next International event in Tokyo.

The BMW eRR Electric Sportbike will be available in different locations – the bike world will also be impressed by the appearance of the Honda three-wheeler. Special body construction of the bike will incorporate three tone colors. The three color combinations are black, white, and dark green to best accentuate the bike.

2016 Honda CB500F Colors and Specs

The new 2016 Honda CB500F series, with its specs and colors is a perfect example of the brand’s creativity. LED lighting, and superb body construction are just a few small details that will amaze fans. With the brighter and glossier vibe of this new CB series– Honda climbs the ranks of automakers on the global scene. The components use the latest material, carbon fiber monochrome. As previously stated, LED lighting is the newest technology – which gives the bike a new edgy look that highlights it from all angles. From the side view, we notice that Honda has used the fine plastic molding less than in previous models.

Let’s take a look at features as we get to know the 2016 Honda CB500X, as the upcoming production from Honda has distinctive specs. This “X” series will have the 471cc engine type with a liquid-cooled parallel twin engine. The valve train will use the DOHC along with 4-valves per cylinder. For the ignition system, new equipment is computer-controlled and digitally transistorized with an electronic advance. Honda has always considered the induction setting to be essential, and that is why Honda uses the PGM-FI with 34mm throttle bodies. There is no massive or excessive spec on the transmission setting where Honda’s uses the 6-speed setting. Extra updates that just arrived are for the chassis, suspension, and the Braking system. Front suspension will use the 41mm fork with 5.5 inches travel, and the rear will use the 4.7 inches travel. The new standard for the front brake from Honda sets it by using the two-piston caliper. The rear brake will use the single caliper.

The fuel tank capacity will be at 4.4 gallons. The news regarding the suspension has not been released – yet, so we can’t come to any conclusion at this time. Since the previous version of the 2016 Honda CB500F cost around $5,799 – let’s hope the price for the upcoming 2016 model can stay close to that price.

2016 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Prototype

2016 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Prototype

Plenty of sources have been spotlighting the new 2016 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 Prototype along with the minimalist retro design of the Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber series. The flavor that Guzzi gives to this MGX is unique by combining the essence of California joy and Italian taste. Based on the draft from the engineers and designers for this particular series – there are strong hopes that this bike can rule the world with its class. Let’s look at why there is a “21” badge on this vehicle, and the meaning behind it. The number stands for Experimental 21 which refers to the 21 inches front wheel size. Unlike the rest of the 2016 upcoming release breed – this series has massive displacement class. The exact measurement will be around 1,380cc with the 90 degrees of the V-Twin engine.

This engine can produce around 96 KHP, and some may say the engine is outside the normal boundaries of the Guzzi breed. Meanwhile, the torque can reach 120 Nm at 2,750 RPM. Based on its shape and size, the engine looks big and we predict that Harley fans will consider this bike an alternative. When we examine every detail of the components that this bike uses, we note that it will unfortunately no longer use carbon fiber, and has instead switched to enhanced plastic materials. The main reason for all the material changes come from the careful consideration of the brand. It is simply to reduce the cost of making the bike. However, no need to worry, because the quality and performance remain at its best high standards.

In case you dislike the 2016 Moto Guzzi MGX-21 prototype, you can try the Moto Guzzi V9 Roamer, with its compact size. Upon its release– there have been a lot of comments about this bike. Some think that the size makes the rider feel limited when making a maneuver or cornering. On the other hand, some people even bluntly add that this bike has an unnecessary tail that is only a wasted design. Regardless of the uniqueness that the bike has – all perspectives may be true because personal taste is the underlying benchmark of any viewpoint.
